Classic Rattan History

Classic Rattan was established in 1978 to produce top-quality custom-built rattan and wicker furniture. They build much of their furniture by hand in Nicholasville, Kentucky, in the heart of the Bluegrass country. Even today, they painstakingly custom build, custom fit, sand, finish (11 standard stain finishes and 1100 custom colors), and upholster (over 300 fabrics for your selection) the raw imported rattan and wicker frames at our factory. This process helps Classic Rattan deliver a custom style that is perfect for your dining room, living room, sunroom, screened porches or even outdoors in the lanai.

Classic Rattan and COVID PANDEMIC

During the Pandemic and even now Classic Rattan continues to be our top go-to Manufacturer. They had very good inventory available when the Pandemic started and we moved as many customers as we could over to their lines of high quality Rattan furniture. Even as the economy begins to open now we are still experiencing left over chaos brought on by the Pandemic. Containers are in short supply worldwide and manufacturers can’t find containers for the goods they’re producing. Container ships are backed up and taking forever to unload at ports all over the world. This problem is especially bad here in the United States. Again, Classic Rattan has been the company with inventory available and we’ve been able to keep many customers happy by shipping Classic Rattan customized furniture in a reasonable amount of time.
